SAS Rubber uses liquid nitrogen, varying combinations of media, and high speed rotation to ensure that flash is removed in a precise, efficient, economical manner.
Parts with thin flash can be cryogenically deflashed easily and thoroughly. This process excels in removing inner dimensional and complex flash that other methods cannot remove.
Liquid nitrogen chills rubber parts inside a barrel, causing the flash to become brittle but not crack. After the parts are chilled, the machines tumble the parts together, or tumble and fire ceramic media to promote the flash to break off.
SAS Rubber’s investment in exceptional equipment and dedication ensures a pure, complete part.
